
Alozie A. Agada
Mr. Alozie A. Agada is an accomplished engineer, project strategist, and oil & gas industry veteran with over 35 years of extensive international and domestic experience. He currently serves as the Strategic Planning Coordinator for the Arco Group, a leading Nigerian conglomerate specializing in machinery maintenance, marine crew vessel supply, and quality control/quality assurance (QC/QA) service support for the oil and gas sector. In this role, he is responsible for driving the group’s strategic growth agenda and aligning operations with global standards in safety, certification, and service delivery.
Mr. Agada began his career at the Warri Refinery, operated by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), where he was actively involved in the startup and operational maintenance of the facility between 1978 and 1980. His early exposure to plant operations and engineering laid the foundation for a distinguished career in the oil and gas industry.
In 1981, he joined ExxonMobil Development Company in Houston, Texas, USA, where he built a remarkable career that spanned several decades and continents. During his tenure, he held several high-impact roles including Functional Manager, Engineering Manager, Project Manager, and Advisor to Senior Management at the corporate level. He played a central role in leading and managing multi-billion-dollar oil and gas development projects across Nigeria, the United States, Venezuela, France, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Mr. Agada has made significant contributions as a consultant. From March 2009 to March 2012, he served as Project Technical Consultant and Engineering Manager for Foxtrot International in Côte d'Ivoire, where he oversaw the development of the Marlin Field. He was also a key advisor to the Delta State Government in the establishment of the Warri Industrial Park Ltd, contributing his expertise to the strategic and technical framework of the initiative.
